This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) describes what is and isn't allowed on websites we host. It exists to keep our hosting environment safe, legal, and reliable for everyone.

Allowed use

Our managed hosting is intended for legitimate websites: business sites, nonprofits, portfolios, memorial sites, personal sites, and similar content, subject to the rules below.

Prohibited content and activity

You may not use our services to:

• Publish or distribute illegal content, including content that violates Canadian law.
• Operate phishing, fraud, scam, or deceptive schemes of any kind.
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful code.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or engage in email abuse.
• Attack, scan, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any computer system or network, including other users' systems or our infrastructure.
• Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of others.
• Use the service to violate the privacy of others, including doxxing or publishing private information without consent.
• Use the service in any way that violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.

Resource use

Our plans include defined resources. You may not use the service in a way that materially degrades performance or availability for other users, such as running cryptocurrency miners, open proxies, or other resource-intensive background services without prior written agreement.

Security obligations

You are responsible for securing your own access to your accounts (passwords, authentication, and so on). You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect a security issue affecting your website or account. Because our hosting is fully managed, we maintain the platform and software, but you should still report anything unusual you notice.

Reporting violations

If you believe a site we host is violating this policy, please contact us with details. We review reports in a reasonable time.

Enforcement

We take reasonable steps to respond to violations, including investigation, content removal where required by law, suspension in serious cases, or termination after review. We do not automatically terminate accounts; enforcement actions are reviewed by a person, and we consider the seriousness and context of any violation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated in writing.
