Frequently Asked Questions

Questions before a technology engagement.

The answers below explain the managed-service approach across automation, websites, communications, and IT. Exact scope and commitments are confirmed for each client.

What does “managed” mean?

It means Dopper's retains an agreed operating responsibility after setup. Depending on the service, that can include administration, monitoring, maintenance, backups, documentation, approved changes, exception handling, and a defined support path.

Do you only provide AI services?

No. AI & Automation is a major growth capability, supported by Web & Hosting, Business Communications, and Managed IT. Many useful solutions need a combination of software, APIs, infrastructure, DNS, email, devices, or networks.

What kinds of processes can be automated?

Common candidates include repetitive intake, routing, document processing, data extraction, notifications, internal knowledge retrieval, reporting, and system-to-system updates. The first step is understanding the process, exceptions, and business value—not choosing an AI product.

Do you still provide hardware and software support?

Yes, within Managed IT agreements, defined projects, and appropriate business engagements. The service is not positioned as a high-volume consumer repair shop or an open-ended “call when something breaks” arrangement.

Can you build and host a new website?

Yes. Web & Hosting includes website development, static and WordPress hosting, SSL, DNS, migrations, backups, hardening, performance work, maintenance, and ongoing management where confirmed in scope.

Do managed-hosting clients receive control-panel access?

Not by default. Dopper's administers managed hosting accounts and limits privileged access to reduce avoidable risk. A confirmed requirement for direct access can be reviewed separately.

What happens to website email during a migration?

The existing email provider and DNS are verified before changes. MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and other records are never guessed, and external email routing is preserved unless an approved communications migration explicitly changes it.

Are specific response times or 24/7 support included?

Not unless they are explicitly supported and documented in the active agreement. This website does not promise instant response, emergency onsite service, or 24/7 personal availability. See service expectations.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing follows discovery and scope. It reflects the environment, responsibility, complexity, risk, implementation effort, third-party costs, and ongoing operating needs. The final scope and price are confirmed in writing before billing or work begins.

What should I include in the contact form?

Describe the current process or environment, the problem, and the outcome you want. Include a domain only if relevant. Never submit passwords, tokens, private keys, payment details, or confidential customer data.
